THE BRANDITO INTERNSHIP EXPERIENCE

This summer, we had the pleasure of welcoming Caroline Binns, a Marketing student at Virginia Commonwealth University, as our summer intern here at BRANDITO. From day one, Caroline jumped right in, contributing fresh ideas, tackling meaningful projects, and bringing great energy to the team. In her own words, she reflects on what made her internship experience unique, what she learned along the way, and how her time at BRANDITO has helped shape her career journey.

"At BRANDITO, being an intern means more than just observing from the sidelines; it means stepping into real projects, contributing ideas, and seeing your work make an impact.

As a junior in the Marketing program at Virginia Commonwealth University, I knew there would be competition to find a summer internship. I was unsure I would be able to find an opportunity for the summer, let alone one that would truly grow my skills. When I was introduced to BRANDITO, I had a good feeling.

From the beginning, I was welcomed as part of the team. I wasn’t here to shadow someone
else’s work; I was trusted to take on meaningful responsibilities starting from my very first week. Some of my favorite projects included creating social media content, designing visually engaging internal resources, and contributing to strategies that supported real marketing goals. Each day brought new challenges and opportunities to apply the marketing skills I had, learn new ones, and see the results of my work in real time. It’s rare to feel like your voice matters so early in your career, especially in your first internship, but here, it truly did.

The culture at BRANDITO played a huge part in making this short internship such a rewarding experience. Whether it was collaborating on creative ideas, joining company events, or simply working in an environment stocked with the resources to succeed, I always felt a sense of support. I quickly learned that this wasn’t just about adding professional experience to my resume, but about being part of a team that values the contributions of every member, even the intern.

But more than that, I am leaving with the satisfaction of knowing my contributions mattered and the excitement to apply what I’ve learned in my future career."

At BRANDITO, we’re proud to create an internship experience that goes beyond the basics, one that empowers students like Caroline to take on real responsibilities, sharpen their skills, and leave knowing their contributions made a difference. We can’t wait to see where her journey takes her next and are grateful for the impact she made on our team this summer.
